The Blessing Giving the Gift of Unconditional Love and Acceptance By John Trent & Gary Smalley

The Blessing Giving the Gift of Unconditional Love and Acceptance By John Trent & Gary Smalley

This book delivers a powerful message. I think I related to the book most as the last few chapters really did hit home for me. I always shrived for my mother and grandmother’s approval, but it was always hard to maintain it-I can understand this book so clear and perfectly. It’s a great set up for new parents or even someone going through a struggle with their own parents/family member. It’s a good book to read. I received this book from Nelson’s Publishing in exchange for an honest review, all opinions stated are my own and I was not required to write a positive review.

The Quotable Rogue The Ideals of Sarah Palin in Her Own Words By Matt Lewis

The Quotable Rogue The Ideals of Sarah Palin in Her Own Words By Matt Lewis

For a political book I was on the fence even reading it-but the writer did a good job showing Sarah in a new light. He addresses certain issues that Palin has brought to our attention; and they are important issues at that. I think the writer had some strong views, and the book didn’t fall short. It’s a book that’s meant for the politician to be seen in a new light-and this book certainly provides it. It covers deep issues America has-and ways to solve them, unfortunately it will take more than just a motivational speaker and words to make it happen. I received a copy of this book free from book sneeze, all opinions written are my own and I was not required to write a positive review.

The Waiting Place Learning to Appreciate Life's Little Delays By Eileen Button

The Waiting Place Learning to Appreciate Life's Little Delays By Eileen Button is a book that is worth reading! Appreciating life through the time of waiting. This book is one to read if maybe you’re not the most patient person. I enjoyed this book greatly, it’s taught me the fine value of finding thought through time. I recommend this one to read as it is very good-the author speaks her thoughts clearly and the book makes sense; I took it as a more of a guideline to patience then anything. I received this book free from book sneeze in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and do not interfere with any guidelines. I was not required to write a positive review.

Jesus, My Father, The CIA, and Me By Ian Cron

Jesus, My Father, The CIA, and Me By Ian Cron

The description of this story is what caught my attention; imagine at only the young age of sixteen being told your father worked for the CIA, and nothing was what it seems. Ian’s story is both touching and heartbreaking; but to come over odds and break through-it takes strength and his story definitely has that. I read this as like I said-the title caught my attention, I managed to read this book in one day, and I can for surely say, you won’t be disappointed. Reading someone’s biography is always fascinating; this one is no different. The book is a real roller coaster, and one you should read. I received this book in exchange for my review. All thoughts in here are entirely my own, as I was not required to give a positive review in exchange for the book.

The Seraph Seal

The Seraph Seal is based on the book of revelation, a very fascinating novel with a great plot and an epic tale told through a smooth plot. The book starts out in 2048, the earth is dying; closing in on itself from centuries of abuse. Through a freak finding, Paul Binder finds a note addressed to him in a car accident outside his Virginia home; leading him on an adventure that he would not soon forget. He finds himself on a search for the horsemen; leading him to wonders he would ever only imagine. The characters and description was amazing; you find yourself reading fast; to catch up with the action-putting you right there in the story. It was a great read and one that I would read again! I got this book free from booksneeze in exchange for giving an honest and trustworthy review. If you like fast paced action packed books-this is the one to read!

The Skin Map (Trade Paper) By Stephen Lawhead

The Skin Map (Trade Paper) By Stephen Lawhead is one of those books that holds so much suspense that you really can’t put it down; the cover is what caught my attention; and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed in the least! The plot was picked up fast pace-while the characters were written so flawlessly that I almost believed they were real. It kept me in suspense up to the last chapter (and I finished this book in less than a day) that’s how amazingly flawless and well written it was! The plot had no visible holes and the author showed skill and perfection to each page, each scene-each chapter. Making it an amazing book. I loved the illustration for the cover; and the way each character and conflict were resolved. I definitely have to recommend this book! I will make sure that my friend (who also loves to read) reads this. She doesn’t have an account here but I think she’ll get one, once she sees what kind of books there are! I received this copy free from book sneeze for exchange for a review of the product. These words are solemnly my own and I did not have to leave a positive review.

Washington A Legacy of Leadership By Paul Vickery and Stephen Mansfield

Washington A Legacy of Leadership By Paul Vickery and Stephen Mansfield

George Washington - the ma who couldn’t tell a lie, the man who chopped down the cherry tree-made general, first to the battlegrounds of war, first for peace. There are may things that describe are first president-and this book covers all of that. I love the way this book starts the introduction and continues on with surprising information that a reader may not know. As a writer and reader myself, I loved the way the author brought his history together and really exploited who he was. I will say I learned things that I didn’t before and look forward in reading future biographies from this author. He gives a very detailed description on our first president’s life and backs it up with proof. I recommend this book for people who love to read biographies, you won’t be disappointed. The book is put together nicely!

The Final Summit A Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save Humanity By Andy Andrews

The Final Summit A Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save Humanity

By Andy Andrews

I never received this book it’s become quite a common thing with my neighbors and taking my packages. I’m going to have to get a PO box or something as this is not the 1st time this has happened. I’m sorry I can’t write an honest review of it. I received my last book. I don’t live in a very honest building as I’m sure I’ve mentioned before; and try to stay true to reading as that’s what I love to do. I’ll be getting a copy from eBay soon and be able to give it a honest review then so please stay tuned. The neighbor doing is is not only harassing me but is vandalizing my car to (I have no proof but unfortunately it is the case as to why my mail has been disappearing) I’ll be able to post an honest review soon. Thanks for understanding!

Nick of Time By Tim Down

Nick of Time By Tim Down

I honestly wish I could give this book a real rating, unfortunately the book had a hole in the package which caused rain to seep , soaking the book and not to mention something at the post office punctured the pages; it was real heavy and sharp because it punctured the last half to the book, adding insult to injury with the water, they’re out of copies so I’m just going to have to review this as ‘unreadable’ so my account allows me to get another book, hopefully this time the post office won’t be complete idiots and set something down on the book to where I have to throw it away upon arrival. I apologize for not being able to give a good or bad review on this book as it was completely destroyed. If it’s not my neighbors being thieves and taking my books, it’s the post office being idiots and setting 4000 pound items on top to make my book unreadable.

Beyond Talent Become Someone Who Gets Extraordinary Results by John Maxwell

Beyond Talent Become Someone Who Gets Extraordinary Results by John Maxwell is a book that unmasks true belief in oneself to accomplish anything and have the talent to believe that they are good enough. The book starts out straight forward - explaining someone’s talent and learning how to exploit their talent while believing more then themselves. John is a business guru; explaining to people that it’s not just a talent-but choices different ones make and lead to. The book was explained simply and offered a lot of information to help young professionals as well as business people exploit, decide and go with what they choose. It offers help on so many other things and each chapter fits well into itself right up until the end. I recommend this book to anyone trying to find what their nitch is, he gives you all the information that would be needed. I personally liked it while he was explaining to his son about the baseball who didn’t believe in himself about being the best player out there and in the end he discovered he was - John walks through personal life to correspond to what other people maybe going through. It’s definitely a book worth checking out!

Indivisible

Indivisible by Kristen Heitzmann is a fast paced story circling around Jonah Westfall a police chief that is seeking answers to two mutilated raccoons that have his town in a fury; hoping that the crime doesn’t escalate into something more serious. He battles through some deep personal issues that are slowly revealed throughout the story, and a love interest that runs a little bit deeper than water. It’s a book worth checking out as each page leaved you wanting to know what happens next!

God's Promises for the American Patriot - Deluxe Edition By Richard Lee, Jack Countryman

God's Promises for the American Patriot - Deluxe Edition By Richard Lee, Jack Countryman

This is definitely a book for the devoted Christian, combining history of the signing of the declaration of independence and how each individual that signed the declaration shared in God’s word and promise for a brighter America. It was an interesting read with guides from the bible, to the author’s clear view on our history- it’s not a boring book; it focuses on the old political views of politics while combining the belief of Christianity. Something I think a lot of people would find interesting- even if they aren’t religious. I picked this book out solemnly for the history and to see what else I can learn in the important part of our history. Though it’s changed from 200 years ago, our forefathers had something that lacks in today’s political views-honesty. They stood by God’s word, and I recommend this book to people who are interested in religion and political history as well as anyone who wants to know more about history and religion. Read this book, you may find some interesting facts and things you didn’t know before!

DG The Dopple Gang The Secret Of Indigo Moon by GP Taylor

DG The Dopple Gang by GP Taylor

I love how this book combines illustration, comics, a story and pictures. It has a very unique storyline to it, one I think most kids or mystery readers will love. It’s about a gang who goes in search to solve mysteries (almost like Scooby Doo) They discover a tunnel and come face to face with a kooky private investigator who seems to be good at getting into trouble then he does staying out of it. The of course old enemies surface; bent on destroying everything that the gang has worked so hard to keep. It’s a really page turner and does more good for young adults then it does adults. The comics were vivid and the pictures throughout were just great to help make the story really jump! I recommend this book for sure - give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Unleashed Release the Untamed Faith Within By Erwin McManus

Unleashed Release the Untamed Faith Within By Erwin McManus gives an insight of the Christian faith-one between the civilized faith and the uncivilized. He opens up with describing his daughter and describing her passion for music and the decisions she would have to make while away from home-describing uncertainty and fear. He moves on seemingly easy to describing what creates fear and exampling it into religion. From that point it turns into describing the barbaric side of religion to people who hold onto hope but not fully accepting Christ, the chapter was fascinating to read and made a lot of good points. There are scripts depicting the lesson the chapter wants you to learn, and it’s an easy read. It goes on to describe John the Baptist as the author gives a reason why he is a barbarian-but in that case, wouldn’t we all be? There are some points I don’t agree with but others I do. He gives a really good point in describing what a true Christian is and what a barbarian is; ones who think they know God; and ones that truly know him. I do recommend this book fully and have read other books like it and they offer a great insight into religion as well as keeping faith - the right way. I recommend this book to someone who’s involved in the faith to get a better understanding on truly accepting Christ and all that he has to offer. The author did a fantastic job even though some points he made were unnecessary.

I'm a speed reader and managed to read this book fully within two hours. I also acquired this book through digital download, reading is a really strong point for me and am able to read through and love reading so I do tend to read extremely fast and understand the book quite well without missing anything with main points. I hope to get more books as I go through them quickly.

Jolt!: Get the Jump on a World That's Constantly Changing by Phil Cooke

Jolt!: Get the Jump on a World That's Constantly Changing by Phil Cooke is a book that allows us to change with the times in a a world that is constantly changing-constantly adapting, and this book helps us to adapt with the world outside as well as help us keep true to who we really are. He tackles through tough questions and advices as well as give views to understanding in the business, political and church world, showing them and us how to adapt with the times. After all we live in an advance technological world that’s going to keep getting more and more advanced as the years roll by. I liked the book, although it’s not really my cup of tea as I don’t keep up with the latest trends or technologies, which sometimes get me pretty lost. I did however learn a lot from the book and see things a little more clearer then I had before. I believe that someone who is a technology guru or even someone trying to keep up with the technology can learn to adapt and change with this book. It didn’t do much for more but it is a great book in helping to mold and change the lives of someone who does have trouble.

Heart of Ice By Lis Wiehl and April Henry

Heart of Ice By Lis Wiehl and April Henry is a fast paced thriller with even more of an explosive plot, a must for any person who loves to read! This is the third installment to the triple threat series and is sure to knock you off your feet! Elizabeth Avery is a character who is both cunning, manipulative and for a third charm a cold blooded killer-one of the most intense characters I have probably ever encountered while reading. She is smart and knows the business of killing-but being a sociopath that’s to be expected. When Cassidy starts to go to the local gym she undoubtedly enters into Elizabeth’s web, from there things start to take form from one bizarre twist to another. The writer had an amazing idea and one you could feel through the pages while reading, every emotion and character was set just right and I recommend this book to anyone who loves thriller and suspense. Each page is an adventure, along with a little bit of heartache as you feel empathy for certain characters because of a hard time or tragedy they‘re going through, or ones that you feel utter distaste for. This story is amazing and one I will most likely be reading again!

The Corruptible: A Ray Quinn Mystery by Mark Mynheir

The Corruptible: A Ray Quinn Mystery by Mark Mynheir is an action packed book with an even more adventure filled plot. Each page is a real suspense right to the very end! It opens up with Quinn about to be beat senseless by an angry husband of a client they had investigated. Just as he was about to be pulverized- his friend helps him out; opening up to be a real adventure. He and his partner Crevis opens up a private investigator’s office, receiving a call from a man who’s employee an ex-cop stole some sensitive information, when he goes to track that information down he finds the person he was going after dead in a sleazy Orlando Florida Hotel; leaving him with more questions then answers. On top of that the information that was stolen from his employer was taken from the one who originally took it. It sometimes lacks in originality but the plot really moves and you find yourself turning the page and unable to put the book down. I definitely recommend it!

dot com dating by Les Parrott

This book opens up with a good introduction to a really interesting book, it shows you how to find the right guy while avoiding the freaks, players and losers. It goes step by step to find the right guy to not only completes you but sets into place what God has meant for the person to have. We live in a world of freaks, losers and of course people who are into playing games. This book shows you how to get your partner through watching for the warning signs, how to set up a good profile and of course proper dating etiquette. Be clear with what you want and what you expect while matching what that person would want as well. It’s a great book and I recommend it for the person not having any luck in finding dates or someone with bad luck finding the wrong people-this books will help!

The little red book of wisdom By Mark DeMoss

The little red book of wisdom By Mark DeMoss is a book that comes in handy when you don’t always have that person who will listen. The book follows closely about learning from the past through history the mistakes each story and person in there does and what can be sought from learning exactly how to avoid situations such as that and learning from the past. It also helps to excel in the work place-especially how the author explains his stories and others through listening, and giving advice that helps guide a path. It also focuses on life, and thinking positively-which is a hard thing to get centered but this book can tell you how to do that. It also comes into handy if you own your own business and are just starting out. I think this book would be perfect for someone who’s either struggling with work, or struggling with life-we’ve all been there. I say give The little red book of wisdom q chance and you won’t regret it. I was never centered, and it was always hard to keep positive in such a negative world but the book helps change views, maybe it can help you. I would definitely recommend it!

Time With God For Mothers By Jack Countryman

Time With God For Mothers By Jack Countryman is a great book that encourages mothers to spend time learning about God and following his will. It covers things like how important worship is to have in ones life, as well as to forgive yourself for mistakes. It also shows how to follow God and gives a real insight into. Mothers tend to get stray into situations; this book helps to avoid them. The book also gives advice to ward off what trouble may arise-with some interesting passages and advice. It also explains in one chapter that we allow our own selfish needs to come before God and also gives sound advice to help put God before ourselves. The author also talks about seeking to understand God and at times times struggling to obey his will, but with faith it becomes easier and he does a great job touching on that subject. It also talks about faith, knowing he is there even when you think he isn’t and trusting him to lead mothers in the right direction. This book covers on over ninety topic and is a great read for women. I recommend this book to mother or even just women in general as it does cover a lot of topics women seem to have trouble with the most.

Doing Virtuous Business The Remarkable Success of Spiritual Enterprise By Theodore Malloch

I just got this book and have managed to read it in one sitting. Doing Virtuous Business The Remarkable Success of Spiritual Enterprise is an interesting read, and details them in the success or failure of a business through ethical practices. The author Theodore Malloch explores the ethic practices of different businesses through religion and moral value...it was hard to follow on some places but from what I got out of it to operate or own a successful business you need a certain ethical practice that isn’t just about money but the amount of spirit and belief you put into it. He does a comparison from a family owned to big corporate that just don’t care about what the customer thinks but how much they can exploit from them. A conglomerate is the route of more evil then a small owned business as the smaller owned will take more care in what the consumer wants rather than what they can exploit. The bigger a company gets and branches off, the more they have to put in but give very little back out. I don’t know if I can exactly recommend this book as I did have trouble following it like I said but it is very helpful if you have your own business or are starting one up as he goes through many diverse questions and answers them with accurate satisfaction.

My Soul To Take (Movie) + a short thought

I finished watching 'My Soul To Take' it was a very interesting movie about a guy who was a schizophrenic but instead of having multiple personalities he had multiple souls. Anyhow one of them was extremely evil - he basically takes over the guys body and starts killing people. Leading to some certain events - including the birth of 7 children all born prematurely. 16 years later the murders of the 7 children born that night begin to die off. Leading to more events and then a big twist at the end. The movie was good-but for my expectations it fell short. You got the typical jock, typical popular girl, typical Jesus worshiper (you know the ones that are like the world is ending repent and then when chaos breaks they're killing everyone for salvation? Yeah she was like that think of Stephen King's 'The Mist' and that crazy woman and that should sum it up) you got the loser and then you got the freak, of course adding stereotypes in would just complete the movie (sarcasm)honestly Hollywood give em a rest. Then again...maybe it's not stereotyping anymore.

What I find interesting is- why does it bother so many people (myself included) when they kill off an animal...but when they kill off a person in a brutal way it's encouraged? Just because they're being a total jackass doesn't mean they deserve to die...but what gets me is when we hear something on the news I don't think we completely let ourselves feel. We have a wall protecting our emotions. I find myself staring at the screen with unease and anger but when it all comes down to the feeling wears off and life goes on...perhaps that's human nature-we're glad it's not happening to us or anyone we know...but I don't think it's a crime. Some people (depending what it is) will help those people it is happening to)

As a person who serves God, I want to make the most out of it. I've gone down and volunteered when Katrina hit(I was a freelance volunteer and would stay there for about 15 hours doing more time then the red cross members), I've given money to a complete stranger for things they need, I've rescued cats from being abused, I've helped in pushing cars up snowy banks (at least assisted, my guy friend did the main pushing) but I found when I needed help not one person helped. It's the selfishness of human nature I suppose...or maybe God was showing me I had strength to do it myself and over-come it. Regardless it wont change who I am. Thanks for anyone following this blog (I'm not that great of a reviewer though and sometimes I can get very winded. I didn't expect 3 people to be following it but thank you guys just the same)

We Be Big By Rick Burgess and Bill Bussey

We Be Big is about the story of Rick Burgess and Bill Bussey and how they met. They had known each other since college where they worked together at their college’s radio station. After college they both went in different directions; Bill went on to become chief engineer for a radio station in Gadsden Alaska; the station was looking for a new morning host and Bill recommended Rick straight away. The two were reunited a short while later where Bill would help storm ideas for the show before eventually joining him. They eventually packed up and started broadcasting in Birmingham Alabama. The show now broadcasts on 25 radio stations, where the two friends enjoy doing a clean show, talking anything from politics to religion. The most amazing thing is their passion for God as they do talk about him often. They have been through a lot, and have kept their faith strong through trying times. I do recommend this book as it touches a lot of the basis in their lives and I think people can relate to that. It has a lot of aspects worth reading, and some interesting facts in between. I can honestly say to anyone that finds biographies enlightening-they will find it in this book.

The Killing Jar (Movie)

So I just finished the killing jar...intense and wild move; very twisted and morbid. It's about this run of the mill diner that takes place out in the middle of the desert (think of the movie Legion) looks like the exact same setting. This guy comes in and is acting weird, because of a murder that happened in the next county the whole diner is on edge. Assuming it's him the police officer questions him. He leaves then comes back in with a gun-taking the whole place hostage while slowly killing everyone off. I can't really recommend it as the acting was terrible, but for what its worth it has a few twists and turns in it that will deliver a decent shock value.

A Conversation with God for Women by Marcia Ford

A Conversation with God for Women is a great way in helping Christian's (and even non) deal with difficult questions that they sometimes face. The book goes into detail about asking God different questions. The one question that pops up a lot is 'why'. It's a helpful guide in explaining how things happen for a reason. The section on good and bad co-existing was an interesting read and puts a lot of things into perspective. Still, despite it being a great guide it left me with an almost lost feeling. It is most certain what a lot of people ask (especially women) but asking Jesus why he doesn't reveal himself almost feels as if the person is questioning themselves in what they believe is true. Someone true to their faith does question some things-and it's our natural desire to want to see what's in front of us but with belief we have to go by blind faith; and I believe that makes us stronger.

The messages they got across was very strongly linked with the bible for this book which makes it easier for us to relate to. The section on trusting after we've been betrayed was  an excellent read. This wasn't for me, but I recommend it for someone who really would like to know those questions that pop up in the back of our minds, and this book is the perfect book to answer it.

What The Heart Sees By Kathleen Fuller

The book was apparently stolen by one of the neighbors (I live in an apartment) and there was a package for me but by the time I got there it had already been picked up by someone. lately; a lot of things have been disappearing. I don't know what I should do-the post office told me it wasn't their problem. I'll contact booksneeze about it and see what I can do about the problem.

Pujols More Than The Game by Scott Lamb and Tim Ellsworth

This book was easy to follow on the biography of Albert Pujols. It showed how strong his faith in Jesus Christ is and how he incorporated it into the sport he loves. The book goes on to explain how Christ had come into his life and guided him through many trials and tribulations. I found some stuff unnecessary but for the most part overall it was an interesting read, and a good book if you're into baseball.

Couples Who Pray: The Most Intimate Act Between a Man and a Woman by Squire Rushnell and Louise DuArt

Turns out my neighbor had this book when I told her about what I was reading. She leant it to me before it even came. This book is great for couples (or even relatives) who are firm believers in God, and discovering joint prayer as a way to strengthen relationships, and lives. The technique they use is very odd but unique, told in easy conversation to understand and a great way to really get the feel into how it strengthens communication-and life over-all. The stories portrayed in this book show the stresses of everyday lives and how to strengthen them as well as help couples deal with being married. I think this is something every couple should read (or even those who are single to help know and find the right person.) It also takes stories from the bible and translates them in corresponding with the others. So it combines stories from real people and scripture. I found this book interesting, and something I will be trying when the time is right for me. It gave me a lot of insight on marriage and that with prayer it can be one of the most intimate things anyone who wants to strengthen their relationship with their spouse and God can do. It’s not just speaking to couples, but singles or family as well.

The Truth About Dating, Love & Just Being Friends by Chad Eastham

I just got this book a few hours ago (it was a little slow getting here) and I have to say it really has opened my eyes up about dating. It's helped me discover a little bit about myself as well as dating, love and being friends from a guys perspective. Chad gets really into depth about everything a person needs to know; as well as the light humor portrayed in the book. There was a lot of interesting facts I learned while reading as well. I discovered that I have made similar mistakes in the past while dating and after reading this book I feel as if I have a better understanding and will begin to better myself so that next time I'm in a relationship-I won't be so hung up on trying to make sure I'm doing something right, but rather just enter into it naturally. I will sure be reading more of his books in the future.

The Shelter Of God's Promises by Sheila Walsh

The book was inspiring by far-not exactly a 5 star but one that was easy to understand and relate to. The book starts out as she explained a hiking trip her and her friends went on. She explained how everything goes through a period of time and about surviving the elements while having something to believe in. Sheila also has subtle light humor. She explains a lot of the bible and incorporates it into her travels. She has traveled many places, and has preached to all kinds of life. She goes back from bible scriptures to telling of her own story and the people she has encountered. I must say I did not like the one chapter when she was telling of torment and used the scripture of possession, that was a powerful chapter to explain, which was very well done-I just didn't care for it, that has always been a touchy subject for me and i never like reading about it even if it is just in passing. I do recommend the book, though it does get a bit tedious. She does a fantastic job in her writing, and switching back and forth from her story to scripture. The ending leaves you with a sense of peace and faith, but also (at least for me) question.

The Power Based Life

The Power Based Life by Mike Flynt; is a book people should read if they want to really discover who they are. I'm a fast reader in general and was really hooked on what he had to say. His visualizing through different scenarios was strong and confident, which he projected well in his writing. It was easy to understand and helping to really understand things about how a person's mind works, how we perceive things and why we shouldn't become angry if things don't work out in real life as it does in our imagination . He used references from the bible to make some valid points and how it incorporates into our everyday lives. He shows the reader how to stay positive even if we don't get what we want, or if things are going bad- he shows how to visualize those negative thoughts and push them away-or to make those negative thoughts into positive ones. This book gives a very detailed understanding and is an easy and self discovering book. His illustrations are very visual, and clear; the image he sets forth in the readers mind from his own experiences are very vivid and spiritual. I do recommend this book highly if you want to get started on the right track to building and strengthening yourself from the outside in.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (movie)

I found the movie 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' to be a well remake of the 1987 film 'Wall Street' and really go into the credentials of stock market; and the way it works. During the movie I had several moments where I thought; This really happens? There's never any proof, but sometimes there doesn't have to be, as the numbers speak for themselves. The stock market makes and breaks lives every single day- a gambler's game if you will; filled with deceit, percents, quotes and the art of inside fraud manipulation. The destruction aspect is very real life, because losing stock has the ability to change everything. I know this from personal experience as it has happened to someone I know.

The movie is set in New York City; Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) is finally released after eight years in prison for supposed illegal inside trading. He wastes no time in making a plan to get right back to the top-with an added bonus of revenge for the guy who put him in prison in the first place. Using Jake Moore (Shia LaBeouf) as his lackey. Things however are not all they seem on the surface.

Throughout the movie, Gekko keeps making references that the viewer may or may not understand, which veils his character in an even deeper mystery. There aren't many plot twists but there is one at the end that gave me great respect for Gordon Gekko. I do recommend seeing this movie, the cast was flawless; and the movie itself delivers a powerful performance.

My Blog

This is something I've wanted to do for awhile. Write reviews, and giving my view into an insight of books and movies; maybe even at times music. I love all of them and figure a blog was a good place to start. Right now I'm waiting for a book I ordered in the mail called 'Buried Alive' it's a true story of a contractor being held captive for over 10 months and looked like an interesting read. I will have a review on that once I receive and read it.

I'm a writer myself-my punctuation sucks but writing is a passion of mine. One I hope to express in this blog.
